Transformer cabins

A POP station is a main distribution station from where optical fibre runs to the residential estates. Westo Prefab Betonsystemen gave the instruction for a steel mould, making it possible to pour 1,000 of these POP stations. What is so special is the structure of the mould, making the walls look like brickwork.  The concrete walls can indeed be jointed. Thanks to the many colour options of the concrete, these units can be installed in any urban environment. The pouring process comprises three parts: the floor, the walls and then the roof. The inner formwork is made of one piece. On the outside, the formwork is hydraulically opened on four sides to provide for maximum accessibility.
