Cookie policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small, simple text files that are placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a web page. These Cookies can ensure that your website visit is optimized. For example, your preferences are remembered to only show you information that is of interest to you. Another advantage is that you don’t have to log in or fill in the same information every time you visit a particular website.
Why do we inform you about the use of cookies?
On Tuesday 5 June 2012, the amended Telecommunications Act came into effect in the Netherlands. This means, among other things, that certain cookies may only be placed with the explicit permission of the internet user. That is why we inform you that our website uses cookies and why.
Google Analytics
Visitor statistics can also be tracked with the help of cookies. We use Google Analytics to gain insight into visitor behavior on our website. Based on this data, we gain insight into the surfing and visiting behavior of our visitors and we can optimize our website for you where possible. The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address will not be given.
Third party cookies
Third party cookies are used to record surfing behaviour, history and user preferences. You can think of placing external advertisements by a
advertising network, collecting information for measuring and analyzing visitor behavior or the integration of social media channels and functions. Specifically, we use cookies to prevent you from seeing a particular advertisement too often and to register the number of times an advertisement is displayed. Hendriks Precon places these cookies on your computer to prevent you from seeing a particular advertisement too often and to register the number of times an advertisement is displayed. These cookies are not associated with any profile about you.
Social Media
Two pixels are included on the Hendriks Precon website to register visits to Facebook users and LinkedIn users and to save them in an online target group. These pixels work by means of pieces of code that come from Facebook and LinkedIn themselves, respectively. Cookies are placed through this code. Hendriks Precon has no influence on this. Read the privacy statement of Facebook and LinkedIn respectively (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies. The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. This means that Hendriks Precon can only view general characteristics of visitors and cannot view personal information, characteristics and preferences for every visitor. The information is transferred to and stored by Facebook and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn and Facebook adhere to the Safe Harbor principles and are affiliated with the Safe Harbor program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
